Er...I mean, I reinterpret the fall 09 J. Crew looks into my own style. Plus I want to get a job there. Know anyone? ...no? Damn.

Which is unfortunate, because I want to be a fashion designer. I prefer to blame the economy, but perhaps that's why I'm unemployed. I went to fashion design school, but learned more of the technical stuff (sewing, draping, patternmaking), and so sketching as of yet still eludes me. I used to think all was lost, but then I read Malcolm Gladwell's Outliers and he says that theres no such thing as "innate talent", all you need is 10,000 hours of practice, and you can master anything. So if I can just draw for an hour each day, I can become an expert in...about 27 years. Which is the number of years I've already lived. Maybe then I can get a job.

I learned all that "9 heads" stuff in school, but honestly I'm not interested in following the fashion sketching rules for this blog. I just want to get pencil to paper each day, and draw whatever I feel like. And maybe try to develop my own style. I want to learn to draw like her. And she don't follow those rules (yes I know she's more of an illustrator than designer but whatever). So here we go!
